RAC & RA Nordic Ski Champs Tuesday 4 Jan

Tuesday 4 Jan was the first official race day of the team. and a good day it was over the 7.5km Classic race and just a couple of hours later by a 6.5km Skating race over the World Championship standard tracks here in Austria. Some of the highlights are.

Overall 3rd place and 1st Veteran for Carl Carrier

Veteran novice 1st place for Dave Meer

Senior novice 1st place for Danny Sinclair 

There were 125 athletes on the start list and our best 4 all finished in the top 26 (See Results page for full results). 

In the team result where 26 teams in total competed we placed an impressive 2nd. The team now has 2 training days before racing in a 7.5km Biathlon relay race on Friday.
