We woke up today at for morning mobility at . It was a little warmer on the morning jog we go on so it wasn’t as icy as recent mornings. After our core session and balancing bit we cracked on with breakfast and the morning routine. We had a classic strength session up the Untterburg this morning so we set out the start was only down the road so we were there in 5 minutes. We got there and waited about 5 minutes for the coach. He had already been up the hill we were meant to be classic stating up and said some bits were to icy so we couldn’t do it so we headed to another hill that coach knew was facing the sun so wouldn’t be icy. It was only a 5 min drive across the valley so we got there quick and got ready for a nice no pole state. The boss was driving the wagon up the hill so he could give us a lift back down because the hill was to steep to roll down. We set off on our first rep of the hill, coach wanted us to not go to fast and concentrate on our technique with no poles making sure we drove our knee up the hill. We did 5 reps of the hill in all before we headed off back to the flat for our lunch. Cross country skiing was on TV over lunch so we watched it looking at the professionals’ technique. For the afternoon session we were skating the Hochfellen we got there at about ready for a upper body session. Coach told us were double poling all the way to the top until 4.30 so we set off it was hard going on the arms and abs. We had a bit of an incident half way up there was a herd of cows in the road. When we got up to them they all turned and looked like a few were going to charge at us but lucky we got off the road and let them pass without incident. We did four reps of the hill double poling all the way my abs were aching after. We then jumped in wagon and headed off back home.
