It has been an absolute redders day today, same as the weekend as well. This weekend we decided to go into Traunstein on Friday night for a few drinks but soon ended up in a Salzberg nightclub. Getting covered in feathers and foam is really annoying when they fall in your drink and go up your nose. After Luke losing his phone in the taxi on the way back we made it to the bakery as it was just opening for chocolate croissants , which was a bit different from a greasy kebab from back home.
This morning’s session was on the Seigsdorf loop, it must have been in the twenties when we set off at 9.15. My T-shirt was drenched in sweat by the time we'd finished the warm up. The coach had planned a hard session for us because we've got a short week as we're travelling back to the UK for our summer leave on Friday 26th. The session was to do 9 hill reps, concentrating on our skate 1 and 2 techniques plus doing skate 1 on our weaker side. It was one of the hardest sessions for me on this Training Camp due to the heat.
This afternoon we had pylometrics and a shooting session at the range; the Coach had his new favourite cones out again, setting up different stations for us do which were mainly jumping over cones!!! While shooting we were concentrating on our left elbow position while in the prone and standing positions, making sure it was always in the same place in the prone and it was firmly on the hip in the stand.
