What an
exciting start to the week! Yes, 'track day' (my favourite!)...Our aim for

Team leaving the range skating without poles |
Grant double polling with Rauschberg in the background, regular stomping ground for the team |
Working on balance and power without poles |
All of the
1500m times were there or there abouts, which shows that our weekly track day's
are definitely working!
After accomplishing the above times, being a highly competitive team, we thought it would be a good idea to test out our high-jumping skills lol. The highlight, however was attracting a beautiful, German, Uni student, probably because we were all half naked and looked extremely professional ;)
After arriving at the range later in the day we
arranged our shooting mats, did some dry-shooting (to loosen our joints and get
a good feel for our natural shooting position) and zeroed our rifles. After accomplishing the above times, being a highly competitive team, we thought it would be a good idea to test out our high-jumping skills lol. Going onto strength training, no poles (focusing on your legs/bum bum) and double- poling (mainly lats, triceps, abs and hips), whilst performing 1k loops of the Ruhpolding stadium. Taking it in turn, prone onto paper and stand on metal, we did this several times before doing 4 mag shoots, skating with poles :)
Then we completed 4 more mags of no poles and double-poling just to finish off. Just in time to miss the rain, woop woop! :D
Stay tuned to see if we can reach our 3k target times next week!!!
