| Yep we just did that mountain, again!! |
It was a nice 25 degrees when we woke up this morning not
bad for 8.00 in the morning. We were walking up the rauschberg
this morning but just doing a gentle walk without poles. We set off about 9.30
from the house we jogged to the bottom of the cable car to get our tickets. We
had to haggle to get our tickets free as we had already used our quota for the
month. The temperature was still rising and by the time we reached the bottom
of the path that started to climb up the rauschberg we were all dripping in
sweat we had a water break and set off at a nice slow pace up the mountain. We
were walking slow but it was hard going because of the heat which was about
30-35 degrees by now. We had to stop to take on water a lot. It was a nice view
when we reached the top as it was clear but because it was such a nice day it
was very busy at the top with a lot of tourists up there. We got the cable car
back down to the bottom of the mountain then had a slow jog back to the house.
