It was a bad day weather wise today we woke up to rain and snow on the mountains because of the rain we did some stretches and movement exercises in the house core strength as usual which Danny lead. We met up with coach at 9am at Seigsdorf the weather hadn’t change much I made the mistake of wearing shorts but soon warmed up. We set off on two shortened loops on classic skis at a steady pace. After lunch we had our first full biathlon there was still now change in the weather although it seemed as if it got a lot colder (note to self bring better warm kit in future). For myself, Matt and Steve had never done a race with shooting involved it was a good learning curve for us and doing it with the GB Team was a bonus, we all feel we took away some good points from it. Coach has put up next week’s training program and we have it again next Friday me and the rest of the lads are keen to do even better.
