The start of another week in Ruhpolding started in the same way as normal with Danny leading the morning core session. We were going down the range to do efforts so at we set out. We had to pick coach up on the way from the local town because he was getting his car fixed. We got to the range at 9.00 to start an efforts session. Coach first took us on a loop of the track showing us where we going to do our sprints. We were to sprint between two points and chill out in between so were fully recovered for the next sprint. We went around in two groups with me and Danny in one and coach, Luke and Carl in the other. We did the loop 6 times and by the end I could feel I was getting faster. We headed back to the house for lunch and a chill out before our afternoon plyometric circuit. At 2.30pm we set off to the range for a shoot then circuit. When we got there coach zeroed us and we cracked on with doing 20 shots in one go, followed by 20 one shot drills with a short run in between each shot. After that we went straight into four full mag shoots with a short run in between. We did these shoots on paper so coach could see how we were shooting and help correct us. After the shoots coach set us up a plyometric circuit he set it up different from previous ones, placing it closer together so we had less rest in between each exercise. After each round of the circuit we shot again on metal with coach correcting us and showing us our fall of shot. We did the circuit four times and by the time we left it was pretty much dark, the days are getting shorter in Ruhpolding.
