Warming up
with a jog to Ruhpolding's 400m athletics track, we performed 5 x 600m with a
200m walk in between each effort...

Later in the day we went for a classic ski focusing on being more efficient with our double poling technique, saving valuable energy to climb the hills. Which brings me nicely on to 2-phasing. The Coach skied behind us observing and giving us little hints on how to further improve our skills especially on the steeper sections :)
After zeroing our rifles we had a little practise on metal targets, for our shooting tests tomorrow! We are having a petty bet, who can hit the most targets. Exciting? (€2 each, not exactly breaking the bank lol)
Anyhoooser! Knocking down the targets we executed 10 x 1 shot drills in both the prone and standing position (we did this twice). Proceeding onto 2 x 5 shot drills both prone and stand, which we also completed 2 times.
We'll see if our track work has paid off! 13th Aug is the next 3k time trial...Stay tuned! :D
