Carl Pointer - Training Diary - 9/10 October 2012



Tuesday
On Tuesday morning Grant and I went on a leisurely 2hr cross-country run at lvl 1. Although we just wanted to beast ourselves, we had to stick to the training program and it was actually quite therapeutic.
In the afternoon, squatting weights was the agenda. For 1hr we lifted around our 60% max, focusing on our technique we raised the weights with explosive power and slowly lowered for the next rep, exhausting! But definitely worth it :D

Wednesday
£2.50, not much to pay for our relaxing lvl 1 swim this morning at the Moray Leisure Center. Another little addition the Coach added, just so we could loosen off and inevitably mix up the training so we don't get bored.
The highlight of this morning had to be when Grant got hit on by a 50yr old grandma lol!
Wednesday evening we partook in a few ganes of badminton, which Grant absolutely smashed me at! We also played a little 4 a side basket ball with a few of 51 Sqn rear party :)
